New Years in Oregon
A coffee tree in bloom
About our Coffee, con’t.
After we pick the coffee cherry, we mill it to remove the sweet tasting pulp and skin from the bean. Over night the beans ferment, and then we spread out in the sun until they have dried. A crispy outer skin is left on the bean and the bean at this stage is called parchment. We carefully store the parchment in a climate controlled
room.
Not until we are ready to roast the coffee
do we dry mill to remove the parchment,
leaving the green beans. We roast our coffee
in small batches to ensure you the freshest
taste possible. Then we ship it to you
priority mail so you can begin to enjoy your
cup of coffee within 2 - 3 days!
Looking down the mountain, you can see coffee in the foreground & the Pacific Ocean lying beneath the clouds
